Alain Béland, Ing, has extensive experience in mining engineering, currently serving as Chief of Mining Engineering Services at ArcelorMittal Mines et Infrastructure Canada since August 2017, with previous roles including Mine Planner, Ground Control Engineer, and Mining Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as Product Manager and Product Junior Engineer at Bentley Systems from May 2013 to August 2017, along with teaching assistant duties at Université Laval in late 2012. Alain began a professional career with engineering internships at Goldcorp Inc., Lab Chrysotile, and Natural Resources Canada/LMSM CANMET, focusing on various aspects of underground and open pit mining. Alain holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Université Laval, earned between 2008 and 2013.
