Michael Kay is currently the Core Architecture & Complexity Manager at Aptiv, where they focus on global core engineering and complexity management. Prior to this, Michael served as an Engineering Supervisor at Aptiv from 2017 to 2021 and held several roles at Lear Corporation between 2007 and 2011, including Senior Engineer and Technical Team Leader. Michael began their career as an Undergraduate Engineer at Vauxhall Motors Ltd in 2000 and progressed to Lead Engineer and Head of Lead Engineering at DRÄXLMAIER Group. They earned a BEng (Hons) in Automotive Engineering from The University of Huddersfield in 2002.
