Mauricio Bejarano is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including artificial intelligence, biotech, and strategic communications. Currently serving as an AI Consultant at AppTek since February 2023, Bejarano previously co-founded and leads RainforestMD, a pioneering biotech cannabinoid company in Latin America. Bejarano's entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Out of the Blu, a creative communications agency, and holding positions as Board Member and Angel Investor at Brainz, which was acquired by Jam City Bogota. As Global Director at The Rendon Group, Bejarano implemented multi-platform strategic communications across multiple regions and contributed to government innovation initiatives as Chief of Staff for the Vice Presidency of Colombia. Prior experience includes senior roles at Harre Consulting, Xdrive Technologies, and Fox Home Entertainment International, alongside an educational background that includes an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Business Management from California State University, Long Beach.
