Grant Hay has extensive experience in management and operational roles within leading technology and medical companies. Currently serving as General Manager of the Applied Global Services Business Unit at Applied Materials since July 2016, Grant previously held positions at KKR & Co. L.P. as a Management Consultant for Private Equity M&A and at Varian Medical Systems as Senior Director of Global Marketing, Service Line Management, and Business Development. Earlier roles include GM & Director for Brady Corporation in the Asia Pacific region and various positions at GE, including Global Product Director for GE Advanced Materials and Project Leader & Research Engineer at GE Research. Grant holds a PhD in Chemical and Materials Engineering from The University of Queensland and the University of Delaware, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Japanese from The University of Queensland.
