Douglas Morse is a seasoned operations professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Applied Materials since December 2011, Douglas leads account central operations, focusing on spare parts delivery performance and strategic programs. Previous roles at Applied Materials include Global Spares Operations Manager and Global Customer Operations Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing operational performance and driving initiatives for service delivery and business growth. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Douglas worked at Varian Semiconductor, holding positions such as Global Customer Operations Manager and District Manager, where managing a large P&L and overseeing factory ramp start-up activities were key achievements. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, with expertise in microelectronics, power systems, operations, logistics, and marketing.
