Xiang Guan is an RF & mmWave IC Design Manager at Apple, where they are involved in RF and mmWave IC design and architecture. They earned a Ph.D. in Microwave & RF IC Design from Caltech and have held various engineering and managerial roles, including positions at IBM, Agilent Laboratories, SiBEAM, and AltoBeam. In addition to designing cutting-edge RF ICs, Xiang has played a pivotal role in developing the world's first 60GHz CMOS transceiver and led an RFIC design team at AltoBeam. Their extensive research and professional background in microwave and RF technologies contribute significantly to their current role in the industry.
