Owais Malik began their tech journey as a Lead Developer at Lost Souls Media in 1997 before joining AOL in 2000, where they focused on performance optimization for major platforms. Their career progressed through roles at kajeet and Discovery Communications, culminating in a position at Apple as a Senior UI Engineer from 2014 to 2022. Currently, Owais serves as an Engineering Product Manager UX/UI at Apple and founded Quickstart Studio, creating AI-assisted tools for content creators. Alongside their professional pursuits, they are completing a Master of Science in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology at USC.
