Mason R. is a Senior FPGA/DSP Engineer with the Satellite Connectivity Group at Apple, specializing in FPGA development, digital design, and embedded systems. Previously, Mason contributed to the advancement of satellite technology as a Senior FPGA Engineer at Astranis, where they led the design of software-defined radios and developed advanced DSP algorithms. Mason gained invaluable experience as a Pathways Co-Op at NASA, focusing on photovoltaic systems and solar array technologies. Their early career included roles as an intern at Ascend Performance Materials and a research assistant at the University of Florida, where they explored chemical engineering and advanced materials. Mason is currently pursuing a degree at Purdue University, expected to complete in 2025.
