Crenshaw Whitley is an experienced Senior Product Design Engineer at Apple since August 2011, specializing in textiles, leather, and soft synthetic materials. With expertise in product design, material science, and manufacturing processes, Crenshaw develops and sources materials that meet Apple's stringent functional, cosmetic, and reliability standards. Prior to Apple, Crenshaw served as a Material Design and Quality Engineer at Simmons Bedding Company from November 2006 to August 2011, leading a materials team to create innovative solutions and supporting various operational functions for product development. Crenshaw holds a Master's degree in Textile Product Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology, both from North Carolina State University.
