Kurt Hoffman is currently the Co-Head of Underwriting for US Direct Lending at Apollo Global Management, Inc., a position held since 2022. Prior to this role, they served as Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where they led the Restructuring and Capital Opportunities team from 2020 to 2022. Kurt's experience also includes a tenure as Managing Director at Imperial Capital, LLC from 2005 to 2020, specializing in special situations such as bankruptcies and distressed liquidations, and as an Associate Attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from 2000 to 2005. Kurt began their career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG between 1995 and 1997. They hold a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Saint Louis University.
