Sofía Prieto has held various roles in the Human Resources field since 2013. Sofía began their career as a Marketing Assistant at ZIMMA Corporate Finance. In 2013, they joined PageGroup as a Page Interim Consultant and a Michael Page Engineering & Manufacture and Supply Chain & Procurement Consultant. In 2015, they joined Nissan Motor Corporation as a Human Resources Business Partner Manager - LATAM and a Talent Management Project Leader and Human Resources for Nissan Perú - Operation launch. In 2018, they became the Human Resources Business Partner Deputy Director at Banco Santander. In 2020, they were appointed as the People and Culture Director (Mexico and United States) at GRUPO DUPUIS, where they built the People and Culture department from scratch and designed and directed all the Human Resources policies, processes and strategies implementation for all the business units. In 2022, they took on the role of Head of People at both Aplazo and Shopee.

Sofía Prieto obtained their Psychology degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México in 2014. Sofía then obtained a Diploma of Education in Organizational Development and Change Management from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México in 2016. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Be Extraordinary from Mindvalley and in 2020, they obtained a Coaching certification from Gamelearn, a Performance Consulting Masterclass certification from The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute), and a Harvard Manage Mentor: Essential Skills certification from Harvard Business School. Sofía also has a certification in Agile: Scrum Master from Banco Santander Mexico. Sofía Prieto is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in People Analytics: Transforming HR Strategy with Data Science from the University of Cambridge, which they will complete in 2022.
