Philippe Sommer is currently the CEO of Japan at Aon, a role held since 2021. Prior to this, they were Head of Global Clients in Japan and have extensive experience in the reinsurance industry, having held various positions at Swiss Re from 2010 to 2020, including Client Executive for P&C in the UK&I and Head of Client Markets P&C in Japan. Philippe holds a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and Controlling from the University of St Gallen, which they completed in 2002. Their early career included a role as HR Manager at Expo.02.
