Jeff Plein is an experienced executive in the financial services sector, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific at Aon since September 2023. Previously, Jeff held significant leadership positions including Managing Director and Head of Business Operations for Asia Pacific at BlackRock from August 2006 to June 2014, and Managing Director, Asia Pacific Head of Securities Services at Citi from August 2018 to August 2023. Jeff served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Fullerton Fund Management from July 2014 to August 2018, during which time recognition was received as the 2017 AsianInvestor "COO of the Year." Earlier roles include Associate Director at PIMCO and Strategy Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Jeff holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from Wichita State University, a Master of Arts in International Studies focused on East Asia and Japanese from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
