Andrew Snelson has extensive experience in the water industry, currently serving as Head of Economic Regulation at Anglian Water since October 1991. In this role, Snelson replicates regulatory tools and processes, influences business strategy, and shapes regulatory methodologies while ensuring data quality and performance assessment against benchmarks. Previous roles include various positions in performance and environmental policy, where responsibilities ranged from reporting performance to managing annual business planning and setting environmental policies. Prior to Anglian Water, Snelson was a Contract Manager at Tilhill Economic Forestry from September 1987 to October 1991. Snelson holds a Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Southampton.
