Dr. Ayda Nemati Vesali Azar is an experienced industrialisation engineer and defect density engineer specializing in optoelectronic semiconductor manufacturing. From 2019 to 2023, they served as a doctoral researcher in the "Balance of the Microverse" Excellence Cluster at the Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research, following their work as a teaching assistant and researcher. Currently, Dr. Azar is a Staff Research & Development Engineer at ams OSRAM, focusing on automated defect classification through AI-driven techniques. They hold a PhD in Chemistry from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, alongside a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Koç University and Sahand University of Technology, respectively.
