Mike Cave is a High Performance Computing (HPC) Architect with extensive experience in Unix/Linux systems administration, beginning their career in 2006. They have worked at the University of Victoria in various roles, including Technology Administrator for Co-operative Education and Career Services and Senior Advanced Research System Administrator for Research Computing Services, where they supported computing resources for researchers at multiple levels. Currently, they serve as a Specialist IS Architect at Amgen, focusing on cloud technologies to enhance research and development efforts. Mike holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria and a diploma in Psychology from Camosun College.
