Founded in 1951, AMES is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sintered metal components. Our headquarters are located in the town of Sant Feliu de Llobregat, near Barcelona, Spain.
The company is financially and technologically independent, with 100% spanish capital. With production centers in Spain, Hungary, USA, and China, we have a worldwide sales and technical support network that serves over 1.000 customers in more than 60 countries.
AMES is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of sintered components in large series. Our main products are:
- Sintered structural components made of steel.
- Soft magnetic sintered parts made of iron-based materials.
- Self-lubricating sintered bearings made of bronze, iron and other special materials.
- Metallic sintered filters and membranes, made of stainless steel and bronze.
- Biomedical implants made of porous titanium.
