Established in Feb-1995 as a joint venture with American Liquid Packaging Systems, Inc. (ALPS), San Francisco, in the U.S., Pride International (Pvt) Ltd and the Trend Group of Companies in Sri Lanka, the three companies successfully combined their efforts to establish American as the #1 bottled drinking-water brand in Sri Lanka.
