Keith Petka is the Director of Refining and Health, Safety, & Environment at the American Petroleum Institute in Newark, DE. In this role, they lead advocacy efforts related to environmental and health issues in the oil and natural gas industry and manage a team focused on regulatory compliance and public policy. Previously, Keith operated SixteenPenny Marketing and held various positions, including Regulatory Advocacy Leader at The Chemours Company and Management and Program Analyst at the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. Keith earned a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and is certified in Project Management by George Washington University. Additionally, they served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Romania, focusing on environmental outreach.
