Orchid Baron serves as the Vice President of Finance and Controller at the American Museum of Natural History since May 2025, following a role as Controller at the Metropolitan Opera from November 2023 to May 2025. Prior experience includes over a decade at EY, where significant contributions were made as a Senior Manager in Financial Accounting Advisory Services, focusing on enhancing finance functions through digital technologies and creating best practice materials on Finance Optimization. Earlier positions at EY included Manager and Senior roles, executing complex financial transactions for major corporations, and advising on important regulatory compliance matters. Orchid holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University and has completed a study abroad program at Seoul National University.
