Karl Krooth is an experienced attorney with a strong focus on immigration law and environmental issues. Notable roles include serving as a Legal Intern at the US Environmental Protection Agency in 1997, a Certified Law Clerk for Vancouver City Attorney, and a research clerk for Steven J. Castleman, Attorney at Law. As the Managing Partner and President of Immigrant Crime and Justice, LLP, Karl provides consultations and assistance for foreign nationals seeking post-conviction relief in criminal and immigration courts. Currently, Karl advises on immigration consequences of crime as an Attorney with the Alternate Public Defender of Contra Costa County. Additionally, Karl serves as Treasurer for the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s NorCal Board, having contributed to its Advisory Council for two decades. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctorate from Lewis and Clark College and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
