Puya Yazdi is an entrepreneurial physician-scientist with a diverse background in AI/ML, genomics, biotechnology, life sciences, and clinical medicine. After earning a Bachelor's degree at UC Irvine and an MD, they completed a clinical residency at Stanford University School of Medicine before pivoting to genomics. As a Clinical Fellow at The California Institute of Regenerative Medicine, Puya managed clinical trials and published extensively in the field. Currently, they serve as Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer at SelfDecode, where they develop precision health products, and have co-founded other ventures, including a stealth AI startup. Puya’s mission is to democratize access to advanced genomic and precision medicine technologies.
