Richard Gaal is a partner at Jones Walker LLP, specializing in litigation and bankruptcy matters. With extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts, they have successfully represented various clients, including secured lenders and unsecured creditors. Prior to joining Jones Walker, Richard was a member at McDowell Knight Roedder & Sledge, LLC for 26 years. In addition to their legal practice, they have actively contributed to community initiatives, serving as President of the Board of Directors at McKemie Place Homeless Shelter for Women in 2015 and as a member of the Reese's Senior Bowl committee. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Florida State University and a Doctor of Law, summa cum laude, from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.
