Harshad Kamat is an engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in building and operating mission-critical services. They served as Development Manager for the BlackBerry Internet Service at Research In Motion from 2008 to 2012, where they significantly contributed to the architecture and development of the BIS Email system, scaling it from 200,000 to over 35 million users. Currently, Harshad is the Director of Software Engineering for WW B2B Payments & Lending at Amazon and continues to enhance their expertise through studies for a B.E. in Computer Science at Goa Engineering College and an M. Tech. in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
