THE DISTRICT
Alum Rock schools are neighborhood schools. Parent involvement, community support, English classes, and health outreach services all contribute to school improvement. Standards-based instructional materials and safe campuses make Alum Rock schools a fine place to work and grow as a teacher.

OUR TEACHERS
The district encourages talented and caring teachers who are enthusiastic about education and working with young people to join the Alum Rock family. District-wide professional development for all teachers and administrators is provided to assist our staff in meeting the needs of our students. Support for newly credentialed teachers is provided by the district through The New Teacher Center, UC Santa Cruz.
