Robert Venter is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in the IT and Power Electronics sectors. They served as Chief Executive Officer of Altron from 2001 to 2017, during which the company evolved into a major player in Africa's IT services market. Venter currently holds the positions of Non Executive Director at Altron and Non Executive Chairman of Netstar. Previously, they were instrumental in the successful IPO of Bytes Technology Group on the LSE in December 2020. Venter's career also includes roles in corporate finance at Bear Stearns and professional tennis, where they reached the top 100 ATP rankings.
