Dr. Praveen Shenoy is a Technical Fellow with a robust background in high voltage power devices. They completed their Ph.D. at North Carolina State University under Prof. Baliga, focusing on high voltage SiC power devices and have since developed numerous technologies, including low reverse recovery current rectifiers and Superjunction devices. With extensive experience at companies such as Infineon Technologies and Fairchild Semiconductor, they have contributed to groundbreaking innovations in discrete power devices, earning 27 issued US patents and over 40 publications. Currently, they are engaged in developing advanced discrete power technologies at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, while also acting as a consultant and subject matter expert in the field.
