Matt MacLean has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Manager of Casualty Claims Bodily Injury at Allstate Canada since January 2026. Prior to this role, Matt held several managerial positions at Definity, overseeing National Claims Administration and leading Casualty Claims teams focused on Auto and Commercial General Liability losses. Between November 2018 and October 2019, Matt was the Team Lead for Multi Line Claims at Sonnet Insurance, guiding a team of National Multi Line Claims Adjusters. Matt's early career included various roles at Economical Insurance, culminating as Team Leader for Auto Physical Damage Claims and gaining experience in both Casualty and Commercial Claims Adjusting. With a commitment to service quality, Matt began in production management and account management at Safety Seal Plastics Inc. Matt holds a CRM in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of Canada and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University. Additionally, Matt is a Chartered Insurance Professional.
