Pouya Safi, MBA, serves as the Executive Director of Online & Professional Training at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since April 2022, where responsibilities include strategic leadership for online program development, revenue growth, and establishing industry partnerships. Pouya also has been a Professor at Telfer School of Management since 2013, teaching courses on finance, ethics, and social responsibility and has co-founded the Financial Research and Learning Lab. Pouya has held various leadership roles, including Director of Business Management at the University of Ottawa and Associate Director at the uOttawa Professional Development Institute. Additionally, Pouya held positions as a Financial Advisor at Bank of Nova Scotia and Edward Jones and has a background in financial analysis with the Government of Canada. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, both from the University of Ottawa.
