Murat Akyıldız is a member of the Global Management Committee and CEO for the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, Africa, and South Asia at Knauf. With extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries, including previous positions as CEO at Pirelli and PROMETEON TYRE GROUP, they have demonstrated a strong capability in managing operations on a global scale. Murat served in the Turkish Navy and began their career as a professional tourist guide before progressing to roles in brand management and commercial leadership at Procter & Gamble. They earned a degree in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University and are currently an advisor to the Airbus Executive Committee as part of the Airbus STAR Program.
