Abhishek Parmar is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in infrastructure and software engineering. Currently serving as Vice President and Technical Fellow at Airbnb since February 2020, Abhishek also advises and invests in several startups, including Carbon, Oso, and Vinci4d. Previously, Abhishek held the role of Carbon Fellow and Software Architect at Carbon, where significant contributions were made in scaling the company from a $200 million to a $2.5 billion valuation. Earlier career highlights include a tenure as Principal Engineer at Google, where Abhishek developed Google's Consistent Global Authorization System, and serving as Senior Development Manager at Infospace, focusing on XML parsers and web scripting engines.
