Paula Soares is a Senior Environmental and Sustainability Manager with over 25 years of international experience in green buildings, renewable energy, and compliance for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Currently, at Air Products, Paula oversees the implementation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) recommendations for the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project. Past roles include serving as an Environmental Manager for major infrastructure projects in Qatar and Portugal, as well as conducting HSE audits and environmental assessments across a range of sectors. Paula began their career at Aveiro University, coordinating practical classes in air pollution before advancing into various environmental engineering and managerial roles.
