Jim Uhrain serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President of IT Infrastructure at Air Methods since October 2021. Prior experience includes key leadership roles at QEP Resources, where responsibilities encompassed IT strategy, cost savings, and corporate facilities oversight, culminating in the position of Director of IT. Jim Uhrain played a significant role in the infrastructural development and disaster recovery strategy at QEP Resources during a period of post-startup growth. Prior to this, Jim Uhrain directed IT infrastructure at Frontier Airlines, overseeing a substantial team and integrating functions post-merger. The career commenced at Acuson, now part of Siemens, where a series of promotions highlighted increasing expertise in network systems design and management. Jim Uhrain holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
