Sanjiv Mehta is the Executive Chairman of L Catterton India and has transitioned into the private equity sector after a distinguished 32-year tenure at Unilever. At Unilever, they served as Chairman and CEO of Hindustan Unilever for a decade, where they significantly increased the company's market capitalization and championed social and environmental initiatives. Mehta was also a member of Unilever's Global Executive Board and played a pivotal role in shaping India's long-term economic strategy as President of FICCI. Currently, they hold several non-executive board positions, including at Air India and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, while continuing their education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Harvard Business School.
