Kate Wessels, MBA, CAE, has extensive experience in communications and marketing within the non-profit sector, particularly in veterinary health care. At the American Animal Hospital Association, Kate served as the Director of Member Experience and Communications, overseeing accreditation activities and leading cross-functional teams. As a Senior Communications Manager, Kate managed marketing projects and developed strategic communications plans while fostering relationships within the industry. Currently, Kate is the VP of Communications, Marketing, and Partnerships at the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, having previously directed communications and marketing for the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, where accomplishments included enhancing member communications strategies and improving email engagement metrics. Kate holds an MBA with a specialization in Change Management from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.S., B.A. in Journalism and International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
