Andre Leite is a P. Eng, AusIMM CP(Min) Mine Engineer and Geostatistician currently serving as the Vice President of Ontario Operations at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since 2022. They previously held the position of Vice President of Technical Services at Kirkland Lake Gold from 2021 to 2022 and worked as a Principal Mine Engineer at Vale from 2015 to 2018. Andre's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Mine Engineer at Cameco Corporation and a Research Assistant at McGill University, where they earned a Master's degree in Mine Planning Optimization under Uncertainty. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and have completed studies in Mineral Engineering at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
