Michael Jones has extensive experience in the environmental and remediation services sector, having served as Technical Director and Operations Manager at AECOM from January 2012 to September 2014. Following this role, Michael was promoted to Director Operations (Delivery Excellence) for Australia and New Zealand from October 2014 to September 2022 and also held the position of Director Environment for Sydney and the Australian Capital Territory. Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of New South Wales between 1991 and 1995, and completed the Higher School Certificate at Figtree High School from 1984 to 1990.
