William C. Brantley is a Fellow Design Engineer at AMD Research, specializing in Data Center GPU technology. They have played a pivotal role in several high-profile projects, including the design of the ORNL Frontier supercomputer and the El Capitan supercomputer, which achieved TOP500 #1 in November 2024. Brantley's extensive experience includes serving as a Principal Member of Technical Staff and Manager of HPC & Embedded Performance at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. prior to transitioning to their current role.
