Umesh Nair is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in design engineering, primarily at AMD since 2015, where Umesh has progressed from Director to Senior Director of Design Engineering, leading a team of over 120 engineers and delivering advanced SoC and CPU core projects. Prior roles include Principal at Qualcomm, managing senior engineers in subsystem timing convergence, and R&D Manager at TSMC North America, overseeing design methodology and test chip implementation on cutting-edge process nodes. Umesh has also held key positions at MIPS Technologies, Broadcom, and Sun Microsystems, contributing to significant advancements in performance and power efficiency. Educational credentials include a post-graduate program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from The University of Austin Texas and Great Lakes Executive Learning, along with degrees from Cornell University, Texas A&M University, and the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
