Rick Knoechel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in high-performance computing (HPC), automotive, and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Global Strategy Lead for Automotive and Discrete Manufacturing at AMD, Rick focuses on integrating traditional scientific modeling with advanced cloud simulations for various industries. Previously, Rick held leadership positions at Strategic Tech Partners LLC, Oracle, Rescale, and other notable companies, specializing in product management, business development, and sales. Rick possesses two master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Kalamazoo College.
