Matt Cushing has extensive experience in engineering program management within the high-performance computing and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as an HPC Engineering Program Manager at AMD since September 2019, Cushing leads the core team for a high-performance compute platform integrating GPU, CPU, and software components. Previously, Cushing worked at Seagate Technology from May 2010 to September 2019, managing SSD engineering programs and overseeing a team of program managers across a large international development network. Cushing's career also includes significant roles at IBM, where project management of the XBOX 360 CPU and GPU development took place, as well as experience as an ASIC design consultant at LSI Logic and an ASIC design engineer at Hitachi Global Storage Technologies. Cushing holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
