Jim Greener is currently the Director of Silicon Design Engineering at AMD, a position held since 2022. Prior to this role, Jim served as Senior Director of R&D at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from 1996 to 2022, accumulating over twenty-five years of experience in deep sub-micron VLSI design for microprocessors and high-end chip-set ASICs. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Engineering from Colorado State University, following earlier studies in Music at the University of Northern Colorado.
