Aaron Carpenter is a Senior Member of Technical Staff and Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, specializing in microprocessor design, RTL design, and multiprocessor systems. They previously held positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology and Binghamton University, respectively, focusing on computer architecture and advising students. Aaron earned a PhD from the University of Rochester in 2012, where they also served as a PhD candidate and research assistant in VLSI design. They briefly worked as a Graduate Intern at Intel in 2008.
