Javier Catalán Durán is an experienced professional in the field of humanitarian assistance and emergency coordination with a background in geography. Currently serving as the Coordinador de Voluntariado Sudamerica and Asistente de Emergencias at ADRA International since August 2022, Javier previously held the position of Coordinador Nacional de Emergencias at ADRA Chile from November 2019 to September 2022. Javier also gained experience as Coordinador de proyectos at INJUV Chile for a brief period in 2020, leading the "Ruta Social" project in Chillan and San Carlos. Earlier experience includes an internship at Klaus inversiones, where Javier conducted a territorial analysis in Chadmo, Chiloe. Javier holds a degree in Geography with a focus on Humanitarian Aid from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, completed in 2020.
