Alan Vollmer is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and network operations, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Adobe since September 2012. Key achievements include leading the transformation to DevOps and establishing a global cross-functional team for Adobe's microservices. Prior to Adobe, Alan held various roles at American Express from 1997 to 2012, including Network Technologies Manager and Manager of Service Management, where significant accomplishments included the development of a Global Network Hardware Refresh program and tactical support for data network operations. Alan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Southwest Minnesota State University.
