Shoubhik Roy is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, having worked for Shell from August 2014 to March 2016 before transitioning to ADNOC Group in August 2023 as a Senior Specialist in Corporate Strategy. At Shell, Shoubhik held various roles including Senior Production Seismologist for the Majnoon Field Development, where responsibilities included managing stakeholder relations and planning 3D seismic surveys, and as an Advisor for Exploration and Geophysics Workflow Support, ensuring adherence to global geophysical interpretation standards. Additional experience includes strategic consultancy roles focusing on Downstream Competitive Intelligence and hands-on work interpreting seismic data for reservoir modeling across multiple international projects. Shoubhik holds an M.Sc. in Geosciences from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.Sc. in Geosciences from Presidency University, Kolkata.
