Shailendra Rajkumar is an experienced climate change and environmental sustainability management professional currently serving as the Group Head of Carbon Strategy at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Shailendra holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, as well as a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Engineering and a certificate in Climate Change and Energy Law. With 17 years of experience across public and private sectors, Shailendra has historically held leadership roles, including serving as the Secretariat of South Africa's Presidential Climate Commission and Chairman of the Industry Task Team on Climate Change. Currently, Shailendra manages the development and implementation of ADNOC's Carbon Strategy, focusing on climate change expertise and stakeholder engagement.
