Andre Schoder serves as the Advisor to the COP28 President since February 2023, focusing on climate finance and fostering global collaborations to position the UAE as a leading hub for climate investments. Concurrently, Andre has held the position of Advisor to the ADNOC Group CEO since April 2017, leading global M&A, capital markets, and asset management initiatives while promoting energy transition efforts. As Managing Director of Investment Banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank since 2023, and previously serving as Executive Director since 2017, Andre has driven significant revenue growth and strategic initiatives. Prior roles include Director of Investment Banking at National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Senior Manager for Transaction Advisory at EY, where Andre significantly enhanced business capabilities and revenues. Andre's educational background includes ongoing PhD research in Climate Finance at ESCP Business School, as well as an MBA from Singapore Management University and executive education from The Wharton School.
