Joaquín Cabezas is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Adevinta, specializing in deep learning techniques for image classifiers and segmentation since January 2022. Prior to this, Joaquín held various roles including Business Development and Machine Learning at AIRTIFICIAL, where work focused on artificial intelligence for smart factories and natural language processing (NLP) for customer intelligence. Joaquín's experience also includes developing a recommendation engine for wines at BeBold, co-founding Smaze to simplify SaaS management, and serving as Principal Product Manager at Adevice Solutions SL, emphasizing IoT devices in industry applications. Additional roles encompass software engineering at Universidad de Sevilla and WebCriterio, along with instructing web development. Joaquín is pursuing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Complex Networks at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, following an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
