Sonja Scheele is a consultant at adelphi since November 2020, specializing in biodiversity and conservation policy. Prior experience includes roles as an analyst and research associate at TMG Research gGmbH, where responsibilities encompassed organizing workshops and multistakeholder dialogues focused on land policy and sustainable agriculture, and managing stakeholder relations globally. Sonja has also worked as a junior research associate at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, contributing to a project on forest and climate protection in the Philippines. Previous internships at Transparency International and Associação Comunitária Monte Azul provided experience in anti-corruption frameworks and socio-environmental initiatives, respectively.
